A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped us out in 2009 for our Banff 10's Tournament. It turned out great! Everyone had fun during this tourney, the way it should be! We had great weather, people, and RUGBY! Congrats to Saints Men for their win and to Clanswomen for the women's side.

Calling all clubs! Looking to do some touring this summer? Why not come to Banff! BRFC’s 10’s tournament is a great reason to visit Banff and play some rugby while you’re here!
We host an annual tournament on the August long weekend (for 2009 it’s the 31st of July, and the 1 and 2 of August!) and have attracted teams from all over Canada, and even overseas. The weekend starts off with a bang on Friday night, as teams are rolling into town. All teams are invited to attend our sponsor bar to register, check out the competition and get “loosened up” before the tourney even starts. Saturday morning the action gets started as both Men’s and Women’s sides vie for the top spot!
Between our licensed bar at the field, various side competitions like dropkicking, music, sunshine and mountain views, you may even find time to catch a few matches! We also host a great Saturday night function and you won’t forget our infamous Pig Roast and BBQ!
Come out and experience this awesome weekend for yourselves and help us promote our local junior club, as our proceeds go towards up and coming athletes through our charity - The Harry Lines Fund.

Things to think about:
1. Accomodation: It’s a long weekend, and our little tourist town is BUSY! You will need to book accomodation ahead. There are tons of hotels, three hostels and three campgrounds in the area, which is where most of the teams usually set up base! We are also currently working on a deal with one of our local hostels to accommodate entire teams at a great rate. Please contact the Y Mountain Lodge for further info at groups@ywcabanff.ab.ca. Her name is Donna!
2. Costumes: We like to dress up on occasion. Or any occasion!
3. Entry Fees: Entry to the Tourney is $450 for Men's and $300 for Women. And the prizes are $1000 for the Men and $500 for the Women.
