Women's Rugby:

The BRFC Women’s team had a strong 2008 season, making it all the way to the finals after coming second in regular season play The ladies held down a 6-4-2 record and hope to have even more success in 2009!

The women’s team is always recruiting players and all experience levels are welcome, we don’t mind training new people, so come on out and check it out, the more players we have the better!!!

The Women have a strong reputation as a team to beat in the Calgary Rugby Union in which they play, especially at home games in Banff, where they remained undefeated last year.

If you’re interested in playing some rugby this summer, meeting tons of locals and travellers alike and getting involved in your community, give any of our contacts a shout for more info, or just stop by one of our practises and talk to any of the girls…you can usually find us running around at either the High School field or the Banff rec grounds around 6:30 pm a couple nights a week!
